Power consumption
Some devices (like galaxy s2 9.7'') require a stronger current. This used to be 500 mA. Some now require 2 A or 2.4 A. You car USB should be able to deliver a 2 A / 2.4 A current on one USB port, if the device requires this.

Different positions Android/Windows 8.1 for same coordinates
Try: Settings: Advanced settings: Reset to default. (Navigator free) PC most likely has similar option.

Choice between portable or internal storage does not present itself on Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T810. On format it is Portable.

If I have the choice? "only the HTC One A9 and Moto X Pure/Style have Marshmallow and external storage options" I did have some aps running from the portable storage. Like GPS test, Pumps.ie, SSHDroid, ...

I adjust slider before I drive and leave on auto or stop on service area (every 2 hours , small break) It hangs there, so I'm not able to play with it :P Not to block my view
