I had the same issue on my Android 4.3.1. Deleted app data and rebooted. Issue fixed for me. (I did get a lot of "Navigator has stopped" when re-adding/downloading the maps.) JJ

Dear Mapfactor Developers, Tested my plugin on a couple of other computers and it appears to work the way it was intended. However, for better integration, would it be possible to add more TCP commands to Navigator? 1) Navigator to send notice befor…

I've taken a stab at creating a CF plugin to overcome the issues integrating MapFactor Navigator with CF. (Can't understand why Mapfactor can't replicate the issues "everyone" is facing)Anyway, I may just have cracked it. I …

@frisian: What major brand has a Windows version? (Sygic and ?)I'd buy the Mapfactor, if they had Australia maps, and their integration with 3rd party front-ends was a little better :( @tomas: I'd be more than happy with a simple "avo…

No, not sure that makes much sense as the issue is not the GUI, but the voice. The GUI shows the right turn, but the voice says "Go straight ahead" (or something like that) JJ

@Frisian: If you're making the software for users, then as a user, the current way is frustrating, complicated and non-intuitive :)I think Navigator is great product in many ways, mostly because it supports the usage of free OSM maps, but the G…

That method assumes you know where the toll roads are. Cheaptest /Fastest is normally for road selection, not tolls. Best if there's an option to avoid toll or not in the routing screen. TomTom usually calculates the route, and gives warning &q…

This might also have something to do with the voice saying "Go straight ahead", but the arrow on the GUI shows a right turn. Nedless to say, that does cause a bit of confusion and a few missed turns... Could this be related to the mapping …

Sygic: Just re-read you post. My modifications to the CF skin allows for this (hiding audio bar at the top) using the min/max button. I think?

Would be great if you've got a foolproof way to embed Navigator into CF. If you can share the source and MapFactor updates their TCP commands. I'm happy to add features like mute CF audio when Navigator Speaks and other nice to haves. (if …

Just updated to the latest Australia map, but rhodes is still under water :(Also, not sure if its intentional, but OSM's "Tracks" almost look like roads in the way they're rendered in Navigator? JJ

Not sure why tomas can't reproduce the issue, but on the CF forums there are plenty of people with this issue. I can only asume tomas is doing (or knows) something we don't. Also, no idea why it would work with the free edition, but not pa…

Odometer reading possible?
I've used it (Free) edition and it did work. Thing to keep an eye on is how Navigator is closed. I use Centrafuse as a front-end and it "kills" Navigator on exit. This causes Navigator to not write its data to disk. The work around is…

street intersections vs street numbers
What would have been nice is for Navigator to show the street name in the Map (highlight the relevant streetname) and let user select which intersection is the nearest as many streetnames are missing from OSM. JJ

@ tomas: Yes. This is to tag nameless streets as well as other missing metadata like maxspeed, oneways, turn restrictions etc. When driving, Navigator will do a very good job of showing what metadata (relating to satnav activities) is missing from O…
