No, Garmin maps and tracksource maps won't work in Navigator FREE. If you like Navigator you can buy commercial TeleAtlas maps from MapFactor.

romanian fonts display and search problem

Do you use Setup Utility 10.2.x or older? In 10.2.x is button "Install data" and "Manage local data" (for PC version) or "Prepare setup on local medium" for PDA/PND version.

The length of trace is not directly controlled from user interface. On the other hand you can modify settings.xml file and change 200 (this is available for version > 10.1.40)
