How to stop the voice during navigation on Android navigator ?
Hardware button? Not every phone has a hardware button for muting which is easily accessible. hdmeltest probably asks for a mute button which remains active after pressing. In addition to that I sometimes wished to have a kind of Shut-Up-Button on …

Address Search Function • Street Names • House Numbers (MF Navigator 2.2.61 on Android, OSM data)
To be honest I don´t find any admin level 4 in Köln or Düsseldorf, and the level 6 borders are the city borders in my eyes. Without checking in detail they seem to contain everything which belongs to the city of Köln resp. Düsseldorf, thus everythin…

Yes, I am not too deep into the admin level stuff. But for bigger cities it seems that the levels 5,6, 9 and 10 are used but not 7 and 8. Example Cologne (Köln): Admin Level 5 = https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/72022 = Regierungsbezirk Köln…

> It seems addr:street needs to be added to all of them (huge amount of work). But that´s the way it works.

Change of smartphone
If you connect your smartphone with the PC via USB you normally should get access to the internal storage and (if it exists) to the additional SD card. You will find the mentioned folder here: STORAGE\Android\data\com.mapfactor.navigator\files\ &q…

Didn´t see that, thanks! I will check this. Doesn´t seem to require root but seems to have some side effects at the first glance (play store comments). I will give it a try ;)

MapFactor OSM Data Processing
That was exactly my thought – that the single area planet files are used but not the big file for the whole planet.

It´s rather a question of understanding the technical background rather than a question of impatience. I just need to know whether something went wrong.

Okay, but does it really take a few weeks to process a planet file and make a new map out of it? I have no idea, that´s why the question. So in worst case you seem to have up to 8 weeks of delay.

I am not sure about the releasing timing of the maps (specifically for the Android devices). Aboev I read that the change cutoff is at the end of a month. So any change made on the last day of a month (which time zone, by the way?) will be processed…

motor_vehicle:conditional is not recognized
Thanks a lot, Martin. By the way ... the PH was used for the opening hours. Don´t know where it actually was defined (or not defined). But it seems to be used and I did not see a different version (like BH for bank holiday or something).

Yes, I saw your post (from May last year). But the max speed information is less important than the access information I think. You anyway need to watch the speed signs (and to be honest – speed information from map data is often wrong or does not a…
