You understood correctly, but I meant using the volume buttons on the phone while the instruction is mentioned. Not the volume button of your car radio unit.That works for me in multiple cars.

If you use bluetooth you have to increase the volume at the moment you hear the instructions. It's something weird in Navigator.Then the next instructions will be louder.
