Navigator free 18 release date?
It is already released, at least the PC version. Version 18.1.4 WINCE version is still 17.1.6 Uli

Ok, when I unclick "Early Map Access" I too can install the WINCE Version on a local medium. but it is still version 17.1.6.1. The PC version however is 18.1.4 Setup version stays 18.1.0. If click "Early ...." then see above Uli

The same what Siggi explains happens here. Additionally when I try to install the WINCE application with Setup Utility 18.1.0 on a SD card it finishes immediately with message "Operation finished", but does nothing Uli

I get the following when closing: https://www.pic-upload.de/view-35044076/Ad.jpg.html But I remember times when I had the same behaviour as you do: just got stuck at the last map or whatever. Maybe depending on version.

That's a known feature since longtime and it is wanted in this way by Mapfactor. That's called "Advertising". You cannot stop it, at least as far as I know. Uli

For my person I disagree. I find them helpful especially in cities where there are crossings or circles with lots of streets coming in/going out.

You may be right, as I was using ES Explorer where it worked and showed my 2 navigation apps. Using the builtin cm11 file manager I get only the choice of editor and oruxmaps, Navigator is also missing here.

Usage of free TMC for Mapfactor Navigator
Maybe have a look at an older thread about this problem. http://forum.mapfactor.com/discussion/6671 For me it was a temporary problem which solved itself after a while. Probably wrong data from that station.

In Navigator Free you don't have to enter a product key. You have to select the public key during installation. Setup then installs 2 icons on your desktop: Navigator and Navigator Free You have to start Navigator Free, not Navigator.
