Quality of maps
TomTom maps are more consistent in routing attributes and therefore more likely to give you correct routes. Coverage is also, in my view, better.

you can disable a road link by clicking on it and selecting the edit icon (pencil), you cannot disable more then one link at a time

I cannot replicate this problem, it calculates fine on my phone try this - close Navigator, go to application manager in Android, select Navigator and click Clear data then stert Navigator and try calculating your routes
