Hi Resistor, I will answer 1) GPS is controlled by Android, Navigator cannot make GPS reception better or worse. Try to reboot your device, it quite often helps. regards

position can be obtained from wifi, but it is not good enough for navigation once you get message to activate GPS, choose Activate - it will take you directly to settings where you can enable it

yes, it is a difficult balance, not to mention support when user set something incorrectly :-) you may be able to make some adjustments using Map editor http://www.directions.ltd.uk/mapconfig/map%20editor.rar

Hi Wolfgang, it is possible to use TomTom maps on two devices, providing you are the only user. if so, go to Settings and click Send logs please type your order ID regards

no, what I describe is when you set favourite from Search you can click Menu at any stage of Search and choose to go to Map or start search again by Menu I mean button on your device

it does close for me, providing Check for new maps is deselected this service (check for new maps) is consuming hardly any prower - I use GSam battery monitor to get consuption per app
