TomTom maps have more consistent routing attributes resulting in more reliable routing, more house numbers and POIs, motorway signs, lane advisor... application is the same

I did not mean reset, just reboot (restart)

GPS is controlled by Android, Navigator cannot make GPS reception better or worse. Try to reboot your device, it quite often helps.
