Still think it would be good to have auto zoom work with speed of vehicle as well as distance from manoeuvre. The slower you drive the more zoomed in.

For those who haven't noticed, Info now displayed on street line on bottom of screen. Pick an icon read info on it on bottom of screen, scrolls if more info available than fits in space.

Auto-Zoom not applied in map mode
Why not just have the auto zoom level set react to driving speed as well as distance to next manoeuvre. The slower you go the greater the zoom. This would help when driving through villages at 30kph.

I think that is a good idea. If you are driving slow (looking for a signpost, street, it would help to have a zoomed in view of the map even if not navigating.

POIs - Can I implement own POIs?
Convert your KML files with GPS babel to gpx file then use digger to convert to mca copy resulting mca file into navigator data. You will then find it under search poi imports

Map downloads extremely slow
Time 12.33am European time. Started download of Germany North OSM over WiFi approx 1Mb per second with direct download. Germany south the same approx 1Mb per second. Try direct download.

Hi I have found that If I try to download maps in the evening (GMT+1) it is very slow so I do my map updates in the morning (2pm GMT+1 = 7am Central time US and Canada.
