Long journey today. MFN routed me to a closed road. Not shown in Android Auto but when I eventually arrived at my destination & checked the app on the phone the closed road is clearly shown. Why does this not work in Android Auto.

I've not tried it but I think you can choose Alexa as your phone assistant in preference to Google. You may then be able to ask Alexa to plan a route, play music etc.

@chattiewoman: A setting had been added to force the app to use the phone speaker. Not sure if this will help but will at least give you sound.

Sound now much better with changes. Thank you. Problem with GPS wandering at busy junctions. Constant "recalculating route" message. Does not happen with other apps. Navigation arrow is also quite large in comparison to map.

Is it possible to have the navigation instruction "talk over" the car radio rather than mute the car radio. It can be annoying as sometimes the radio mutes but no navigation instruction follows.

Cmatta88 - App should be in the list in Android Auto-Settings-Custom Launcher. You must be running Mapfactor v.7.*.* to see this.

I can confirm. Final few metres remain on screen even though destination reached message is received. I think this is why app continues to run on phone/crashes when disconnected from car.

Imported POI's are not showing in app. From home screen I select POI then search imports but screen shows no results. Imported .mca files are in data folder with map files.
