something went wrong with my Navigator installation. I updated my phone to a new Android (7.0) and now I cannot download the maps anymore... 

Clearing the cache, deleting data, uninstalling and re-installing the app didn't help. I can load it, saying that I want to use the free maps. But as soon as I klick the "ok" for downloading the maps my screen gets either black or white and just freezes.

Formerly I have allowed the Navigator to overwrite my existing installation on the SD-Card. However, then I deleted this folder (navigator) in the SD-Card and now I cannot download any maps anymore nor go into the app itself...

Who can help??

I just downloaded the Navigator 14 free application and installed it on a WinCE navigation system. Now if I want to download maps on a SD card on Windows 7, it tells me after download that the hash sum is not correct. This happens for various maps, including the global earth map. I then tried to install the android application to verify the problem, there the application gets stuck at the download screen. My internet connection seems to be ok, I have no other problems.

Is there any solution to this? Can I manually download the map files and move them on the SD card?

This is has major impact in route calculation....

And in Romania using default settings in Navigation Software, the route calculation is not well, We have to fine tune the level priority for every road to have a better route calculation, using the roads we have to go, and for total distance to point of destination.
But in some tests , we "repaired"a route calculation and broke other, and I think is because of those road category change....

let me first say that I am using Navigator Free on Android with OSM maps and really like the app and its features. Thanks for all the good work that MapFactor are putting into the development!

After installation of the new version (v1.2.50) I tried to update my maps. Navigator suddenly told me that there was not enough space on my sdcard left although I had not installed any new maps... I checked the files in the "/navigator" directory and noticed that in "temp/torrent" there were all the *.mca files left even though the maps had been already updated. This behaviour could be reproduced.

Could it be that the program forgets to delete the temporary files after map installation / update? Or do I have to make any additional settings?

I am going to buy TomTom maps for France and UK. I have two ways to do it:

1. Buy map of France (15 euros) and buy map of UK (15 euros). Total = 30 euros.
2. Buy map of the whole of Europe (20 euros).

The question is - the map of Europe is less detailed than the map of France and England ?

I use Map Factor 1.2.25 on Androind 4.1 on Samung GT-I8262.

When I am downloading maps, in Day Mode, I have a black text on white background,(which is perfect)  but maps which have updates available are light green, which is hard to read (and maybe not only for me). Please,is it possible that I would change it in some XML file?

In Night mode, text is white on black background, and the maps to update are again light green (which in night mode is perfectly readable) - but does it mean, that in Day Mode and in Night Mode there is the same color used for maps which have updates? Would be better if this would be 2 different colors.  But if I was able to define my own color, I will find one which will be well readable in both modes.
