1. for UK you have miles and yards - just set unit system to British 2. Android takes care of TTS, windows does not, so there is no choice

if you click on map, info about object is displayed at the bottom, no need to click 'i' from top menu

calculation of UK OSM maps finished this morning and seems OK, so should be available within couple of days for early map access users
