Ok, after two deinstall / reinstall cycles now everything works fine! Thanks for your hints! :)

Reformat didn't work. :( I deinstalled Navigator an reinstalled it. After the start of Navigator the app asks where to store data. If I select the SD-card a message pops up "waiting for SD-card" and after a few seconds "The app …

That might be. But I have no idea why the SD should make problems after working perfect for a long time. Also no other app has trouble with the card.

Thanks for the hint. It still does not work but at least I could change the profile back to "car" manually by editing the vehicle_profiles.xml.
