Unable to import using PC tool. Get error 0 map objects loaded.Error: mapFactor exception: All data was banned, cannot finish import.

If I finally do get camera file exported how do I set up the alert for new camera file?

you can import your POIs using this PC tool:

download.mapfactor.com/digger_12.zip

then import .mca file to Navigator in settings/map manager

I works, but all the favourites (with a U) are named WPTnnn which is not very explicit.

As I can see this is not due to the import but the export. :-S

then you import .mca files to Navigator

this will create extra layer, it will not be in favourites

Mapfactor 7.2.23 - how to adapt old POIs?
Poi mca files are treated like maps which have a mca extension as well. So You can handle them with import/delete function of the map manager.
