wanting new setting: "turn announcing waypoints off"

When I follow a route I hear the announcing of waypoints like: "One kilometer to waypoint" or, "Second waypoint reached",...I do not need to hear this announcements and sometimes they confuse me so I would like to see a settings that I can turn this announcements off.A logical place is in Settings-Navigation-Advanced.At this moment I use a modified file navigation.xml but It would be more convenient if there is a setting to turn the announcements on and off.
