Forum request: Allow direct upload/attachment of files/images.

Vanilla forums support images/files attachment/resizing, etc. in Advanced Editor as of version 2.2. I can't see which version we are using here but that would be very useful from my point of view.via several addons you can also upload & attach files/images. Bear in mind that having such function is connected to a higher demand of storage space and administration. This may (or may not) be a reason not to offer it.

But storage is cheap. They could limit image sizes, so users will not upload uncompressed or unecessarily large images.
And bear in mind the waste of time, users need need now for rather effortful alternatives.

This topic was raised maybe 1,5 years or longer ago. Search for vanilla in this forum. I'm currently on phone, I cannot.
