Maps on SD Card instead on internal Storage?

Hello, I'd like to put my maps on the SD- Card instead on the internal storage of my tablet. But mapfactor tells me that I run Android 4.0.4 and Google built in some restrictions using the SD-Card. I haven't found a possibility to set up this configuration. On my prior devices there was no problem with using the SD, it would offer 32GB and that is pretty good for maps with huge sizes. Can I force Navigator to work with those settings?
I am rather helpless, maybe one of you knows?

please install this version:
http://download.mapfactor.com/mapfactor_navigator.apk
then go to Settings/advanced and move Navigator to SD
