Is it possible to reduce map size?

I was wondering if there is some sort of utility to reduce the size of the OSM maps used by Navigator into smaller areas? So, for example in the UK, if you only wanted a particular city, you could draw a rough outline around that city and then the app. would extract only the data required for that area.The reason I ask is because I am trying to utilize an old WM device which has its SD Card slot utilized by the GPS and therefore the only available memory is onboard and is only 50mb which is not enough for the UK maps.Many ThanksAndy.

I would add "at the moment" ... as the OSM data are still growing we may split several countries into smaller regions. It is currently discussed ...
