    Navigator doesn't start, could you tell me, what's wrong? It worked one week ago, since then nothing changed. Last line contains the error written in the title (I can't post the whole log).

    probably one of your MCA files is corrupted. Did you download it with Navigator Downloader, or copy from PC? (downloader should check MD5 of downloaded data). Have a look if any is smaller than expected, delete it and download it please again.

    earth_osm.mca is only 32 MB. I copied a backup from my PC and navigator is working again. But i don't understand what could happed, I haven't downloaded any new map updates for a month.

    hard to say ... if you did not use Navigator Downloader, Navigator should open MCA files as read-only. At the moment I do not know ...

    OK, I know it's not easy to find the problem...

    BTW I think it would be better if Navigator didn't crash when some file is not downloaded completely and told it to the user in a dialogbox. Could you add "try - catch" to the source code? ;-)

    :) you are right & I wish it would be that simple [if you know about support in native code of wide characters and exceptions at the same time it could help us] ...
